Driver may hold sex assault clues

A taxi driver who picked up a 17-year-old girl shortly after she suffered a serious sex attack may hold vital clues to the crime, say police.
The victim is recovering following the assault in Portsmouth, Hampshire, at about 0300 BST on Sunday.

Detectives are keen to trace a taxi driver who took her from the Goldsmith Avenue area to North End soon after.

He was 40 to 50 years old, with glasses and smoking roll-up cigarettes and the taxi was a silver, four-door saloon.
