Detectives hunt for sex attacker

A teenager has been seriously sexually assaulted in Warwickshire, police say.
An 18-year-old girl was attacked as she walked home along a canal towpath between two bridges in Stratford-upon-Avon at about 0145 BST on Saturday.

Her attacker is described as a white man in his late 20s, about 5ft 8in and of stocky build.

He was wearing a white short sleeved shirt, dark trousers and light shoes and detectives say he may have been called Paul.

It is understood he was in the town centre earlier on Saturday.

Det Insp Steve Harrow from Stratford CID says he is confident someone must have seen him in the town earlier in the evening.

Police hunt fugitive sex attacker

Police are continuing to search for a sex offender who has been on the run for four days in east London.
Before the jury returned its guilty verdict on Wednesday, Anthony Webb, 53, ran off from Snaresbrook Crown Court.

He was convicted of indecently assaulting an 18-year-old girl in Chingford last year.

Police say anyone who sees Webb, who is white, 5ft 8in, stocky with thick grey hair, should phone 999 as he may be a danger to women.

Webb, of Hollisfield, Cromer Street, King's Cross, London had been granted bail "within the vicinity of the court" when he absconded.

An arrest warrant has been issued.

Sex And The City Star Dumps Boyfriend

SEX AND THE SINGLE LADY

Sex and the City star Kristin Davis is reported to have dumped her British boyfriend Damien Lewis.

But the star of TV's Forsythe Saga quickly moved on and immediately embarked on a fling with model Saffron Alridge, reports the News of the World.

Kristin, 39, who plays Charlotte in the US hit-series, fell for red-haired Damien at a TV bash in Los Angeles last year.

A friend said: "They hit it off immediately and it was all very intense but it flagged because they were working so far apart.

"There was talk of Kirstin moving to London and doing a West End show, but it didn't work out."
